Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Shift Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Wild Wing restaurant, ensuring food service, preparation and presentation consistently exceed guest expectations. This hands‑on role combines front‑of‑house leadership with back‑of‑house oversight in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all opening and closing procedures for each shift.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and inventory control, preventing variances.
• Promote menu items, beverages and current promotions to guests.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure safe, sanitary storage.
• Lead the team to deliver cost‑effective service that meets or exceeds guest expectations.
• Cover team roles and shifts as needed, including front‑of‑house (restaurant and bar) and back‑of‑house (kitchen) duties.
• Process payments, gratuities and transactions accurately using the SQUIRREL POS system.
• Apply basic food preparation knowledge following standardized recipes.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of Food & Beverage experience.
• Previous team‑leadership experience preferred.
• Outgoing, positive and team‑oriented attitude.
• Experience handling payments and gratuities through a POS system (SQUIRREL preferred).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Smart Serve or Serving It Right certification required; Food Safe certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
