Dishwasher – Food Service (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join IKEA's Food & Restaurant team in Etobicoke as a part‑time Dishwasher. You will keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils and cookware are clean, sanitized and ready for use, while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for coworkers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize and store dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing, kitchen and storage areas.
• Handle garbage, recycling and compost according to IKEA procedures.
• Follow IKEA food safety, sanitation and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Support the kitchen team by providing a steady supply of clean equipment.
• Assist with back‑of‑house duties such as cleaning and stocking as needed.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in a clean work environment.
• Enjoys fast‑paced, team‑oriented settings.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Follows food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Previous dishwasher, kitchen helper or food‑service experience is an asset.
