Sessional Lecturer – Ed Tech, AI & Higher Education

About the role
This is a sessional appointment to teach a graduate half‑course on educational technology, artificial intelligence, and higher education. The course surveys how generative AI is reshaping teaching, research, service, and institutional operations, and equips students to develop responsible implementation strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and deliver weekly seminars for 25 graduate students.
- Facilitate site visits and coordinate invited guest speakers.
- Provide academic support to students between class sessions.
- Assess and grade student assignments, projects, and participation.
- Lead discussions on AI ethics, authorship, reproducibility, and policy implications.
Required profile
- Doctorate in Higher Education or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated scholarly record in higher education, educational technology, or AI.
- Practical experience with AI applications in a post‑secondary setting.
- Prior teaching experience at the graduate level in the subject area.
