Sessional Lecturer – Consumer Behaviour (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach MGT354 Consumer Behaviour during the Fall 2026 term. The appointment runs from September 1 to December 31, 2026, and offers a stipend of $9,997.47 inclusive of vacation pay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, lead discussions, and facilitate learning for the Consumer Behaviour course.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments in line with the Academic Calendar.
• Provide a minimum of 0.75 hours of TA support per enrolled student.
• Maintain academic standards and contribute to a diverse, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence and ability to engage undergraduate students.
• Preference given to candidates who have previously held Sessional Lecturer II or III rank.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of consumer behaviour theories and applications.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
