Service Technician – Windows & Doors

About the role
The Service Technician will perform warranty‑related service work on windows, patio doors and entry doors for North Star Windows & Doors. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you will work independently, travel occasionally and represent the company professionally on customer sites.
Key responsibilities
- Complete assigned warranty service tasks for windows, patio doors and entry doors.
- Travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight trips.
- Accurately document service work and maintain required paperwork.
- Adhere to safety standards and meet service deadlines.
- Communicate courteously with customers and uphold the company’s service reputation.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience installing or servicing windows, patio doors and entry doors.
- Ability to work flexible hours and maintain strong attendance.
- Reliable, trustworthy, safety‑conscious and able to work independently under pressure.
- Valid Class G driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
- Strong reading and writing skills for accurate service documentation.
Required skills
- Installation and servicing of residential windows.
- Installation and servicing of patio and entry doors.
- Knowledge of current home construction technology and practices.
- Ability to read and complete service documentation.
- Valid Class G driver’s licence.
