Server / Kitchen Helper (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Server/Kitchen Helper to join our vibrant South Indian restaurant in Edmonton. The role combines front‑of‑house service with back‑of‑house support, offering a great opportunity to develop hospitality and food‑preparation skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, chopping, plating and portioning.
• Handle food safely and follow all food‑handling and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area and service stations.
• Restock supplies, support inventory management and ensure all food‑safety regulations are adhered to.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and address guest needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant or kitchen environment preferred.
• Knowledge of South Indian cuisine is an asset.
• Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry items as needed.
