Senior Technical Program Manager, Machine Learning Infrastructure

About the role

Cohere, a security‑first enterprise AI company, is building cutting‑edge foundation models and products for real‑world business challenges. As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of machine‑learning infrastructure programs that power model inference, serving, efficiency and endpoint scaling for internal and external users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of programs covering inference, efficiency, serving and endpoints to ensure infrastructure scales with a rapidly growing user base.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution with modeling, engineering and customer‑facing teams, tracking timelines, budgets and scope.
• Identify pain points, establish processes and champion engineering best practices to improve development velocity and reliability.
• Prioritize overlapping projects, drive continuous improvement, and liaise with incident management to ensure timely root‑cause analysis and fixes.
• Provide clear, regular updates to engineering, leadership and non‑technical stakeholders on progress, plans and incidents.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical program management experience focused on machine‑learning infrastructure (inference, serving, efficiency, endpoints).
• Deep technical knowledge of ML infrastructure design, implementation and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, low‑structure environments and balance tactical execution with strategic impact.
• Experience working with ML teams and understanding of model development pipelines (preferred).
