Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS or Android)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join Cohere’s North AI workspace platform. You will help build secure, high‑performance iOS or Android applications that enable enterprise customers to deploy AI solutions while protecting sensitive data.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features for the North platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement interface elements.
• Work around security and privacy constraints, often reinventing solutions without relying on popular libraries.
• Partner with researchers to productionize state‑of‑the‑art models and techniques.
• Research new technologies and best practices for mobile development.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with either Swift and SwiftUI or Kotlin with Jetpack Compose.
• Built native applications for AI companies or apps with large user bases.
• Ability to read, understand, and fix issues outside the main codebase.
• Experience bootstrapping new mobile projects.
• Thrives in fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities.
