Senior Tax Manager

About the role

As a Senior Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you will own client relationships across a wide variety of industries, providing strategic tax advice and ensuring compliance with Canadian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax matters.
• Provide advice on corporate reorganizations, rollovers, wind‑ups, amalgamations, succession and estate planning.
• Review and oversee the preparation of T1, T2 and T3 tax returns.
• Identify business‑development opportunities to expand the tax practice.
• Stay current with changes in Canadian tax legislation and apply them to client strategies.

Required profile

• CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Course completed OR a Master’s degree in Taxation.
• Recognised technical expert in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance.
• Proven experience advising on reorganizations, rollovers, wind‑ups, amalgamations, succession and estate planning.
• Hands‑on experience reviewing T1, T2 and T3 returns.
• Interest in business development and growing the tax practice.
