About the role
Glencore is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its tax team in Toronto. You will work on Canadian corporate tax returns, tax provisions, and mining‑related tax filings while collaborating with experienced tax leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns and Ontario/Quebec mining tax returns.
- Calculate monthly and quarterly tax provisions and support tax audits.
- Provide advisory support on indirect, provincial and other tax matters.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Partner with finance teams to deliver proactive tax guidance and improve tax systems, processes and governance.
Required profile
- CPA designation (or international equivalent).
- 5–7+ years of progressive taxation experience, including tax compliance and provision work.
- Experience in a multinational public accounting firm and a publicly traded company.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
