Senior Systems Analyst / IT Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst / IT Consultant to join a leading managed services provider in Edmonton. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on delivering expert technology support and strategic consulting to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support, maintaining a professional, client‑focused approach.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, applications, and hardware to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Analyze client environments, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend upgrades or optimisations.
• Deploy, configure, and manage new systems, tools, and applications across multiple client sites.
• Perform regular system health checks and proactively resolve potential issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project planning, implementation, and post‑deployment support.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately and leverage team expertise when needed.
• Occasional local travel to client locations as required.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or network administration.
• Strong background in infrastructure support, including servers, networks, and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to deliver tailored IT solutions in a consulting or client‑facing environment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
