Senior Relationship Manager

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will drive growth for the bank by developing new business, managing high‑value client relationships, and delivering revenue through sales, syndications, and cross‑selling of credit, trust, investment and cash‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contacting prospects and existing clients to expand the bank’s portfolio.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with strategic, high‑value clients, providing advisory support and ensuring exceptional service.
• Structure complex deals, secure credit approvals, and negotiate high‑value transactions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Review loan applications and cash‑management agreements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with risk standards.
• Develop market strategies, analyze industry trends, and represent the bank at industry forums to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare performance, client‑satisfaction and market‑trend reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls and compliance policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management within banking or financial services, with a strong track record of revenue generation.
• Ability to resolve complex client issues through strategic problem‑solving and escalation management.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting market trends and client data to drive business growth.
• Independent work style, comfortable handling non‑routine situations and exercising sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for interaction with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
