About the role
You will contribute to Elsevier’s Research Data Platform, focusing on harvesting and transforming large datasets for core data products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code in Java or Python, including new features and bug fixes.
- Work with large data sets, processing and feeding data through internal systems.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team on architecture decisions.
Required profile
- Strong Java and Python development skills.
- Experience with data manipulation languages and data models.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, XML, SQL, and UNIX.
- Bilingual ability in English and French, located in the Montreal area.
