Senior Project Manager - Oncology

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Oncology will lead end‑to‑end delivery of oncology clinical trials for a global CRO partner. Based in Canada, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving studies from start‑up through closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of oncology clinical trials, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Direct cross‑functional project teams, aligning clinical operations, scientific stakeholders, and functional leads.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Serve as the primary client interface, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving escalations.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain study continuity and compliance.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in clinical project management within a CRO environment.
• Proven experience managing oncology studies and multi‑stakeholder programs.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle, regulatory requirements, and operational delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
