Senior P3 Design Lead – Healthcare Projects

About the role

The Senior P3 Design Lead will head the design team for public‑private partnership (P3) healthcare projects delivered under the Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) model. This role combines design excellence with strategic oversight of pursuit submissions and implementation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design team for P3 projects with Infrastructure Ontario, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to ensure coordinated, compliant designs.
• Develop design solutions that meet project requirements and fit within the P3 procurement framework, producing drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams; support business development activities such as client meetings and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain design alignment with project objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies, applying insights to improve design processes.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in an architectural firm or related industry.
• Proven experience on P3 infrastructure projects, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating design excellence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Professional work ethic, ability to manage multiple priorities, and teamwork orientation.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $125,000 – $187,000 CAD per year.
