Senior Manager, Trading Product Strategy

About the role

Join one of Canada’s leading digital investment platforms as a Senior Manager, Trading Product Strategy. You will act as the trading domain expert, shaping product priorities, driving P&L outcomes, and influencing the roadmap for self‑directed investors.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end business cases for new trading initiatives, including financial modeling, ROI analysis and multi‑year P&L forecasts.
• Prioritize projects and guide cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead strategic initiatives, owning accountability for business outcomes and P&L results.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics and client needs to inform recommendations.
• Partner with product, technology, operations, risk and compliance to remove barriers and drive execution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in product strategy, strategy consulting, capital markets or the investment industry.
• Strong financial modeling and business case development skills.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven problem‑solving ability in ambiguous, complex environments.
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative field; CFA or MBA is a plus.
