Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

About the role

Tubi’s Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is a software‑engineering organization focused on building resilient, large‑scale distributed systems. As Senior Manager, you will lead a newly formed SRE team, shaping the reliability roadmap and ensuring that our platform delivers high availability, low latency, and strong performance for users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Site Reliability Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Define and execute a multi‑year strategy for observability, automation, and reliability across Tubi’s infrastructure.
• Partner with infrastructure and product leaders to align SRE initiatives with business objectives.
• Establish sustainable on‑call practices, runbook reviews, game‑day exercises, and incident‑post‑mortem processes.
• Own end‑to‑end availability, performance, and efficiency of critical user‑facing services, reducing MTTR and MTBF.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SRE or reliability engineering teams in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong track record of building data‑driven reliability practices using SLOs and error budgets.
• Excellent coaching and people‑development skills, with a focus on blameless learning.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional leaders and drive strategic technical decisions.
