About the role

The Senior Manager, Reporting Systems Unit, provides strategic leadership for enterprise‑level financial oversight within the Ministry of Health. You will guide the collection, analysis, and consolidation of complex financial data across multiple program areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of financial reporting systems and data models.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial information, providing authoritative advice on methods and practices.
• Develop and maintain robust reporting and control frameworks aligned with provincial requirements.
• Prepare and present senior‑level briefings, translating data trends and risks into actionable guidance.
• Manage a team through effective performance and people management, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Collaborate with I&IT and external partners on large‑scale initiatives and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial consolidation and reporting environments.
• Strong accounting expertise with a deep understanding of government‑wide accounting standards.
