Senior Maintenance Technician – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the maintenance team of a renowned Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island. As a Senior Maintenance Technician you will ensure the inn’s facilities meet the highest guest‑service standards while working in a dynamic, outdoor‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of guestrooms and public areas to uphold Relais & Châteaux and AAA Diamond standards.
• Handle landscaping, general grounds work, and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
• Execute project work including painting, carpentry, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain interior and exterior building elements and manage a preventative‑maintenance schedule.
• Service the bicycle fleet, restore and repair furniture, and conduct general equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Physically capable of heavy lifting and working outdoors on short notice.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with experience interacting with guests.

• Relevant experience in building and facilities maintenance.
