Senior Director, Corporate Finance

About the role

This senior‑level position leads enterprise‑wide financial planning, reporting and strategic decision support for a fast‑growing technology‑driven organization operating remotely across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Lead long‑range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly re‑forecast cycles.
• Own consolidated financial reporting, variance analysis and executive‑level narratives.
• Prepare and deliver board materials, earnings presentations, KPI reporting and investor‑facing documentation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between business finance, strategic finance, investor relations and finance systems teams.
• Oversee enterprise planning systems and financial models, ensuring scalability and accuracy.
• Establish reporting standards, planning calendars, governance processes and financial definitions.
• Provide corporate‑level analysis of revenue, operating expenses, headcount and performance trends.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Identify and implement workflow automation and AI‑enabled tools to improve decision‑making.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on finance strategy and performance management.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A or strategic finance leadership.
• Proven experience leading planning cycles, consolidated reporting, board presentations and investor‑facing materials in a public‑company environment.
• Strong understanding of long‑range planning, budgeting, forecasting and enterprise‑wide financial operations.
