Senior DevOps/SRE (Hybrid) – Montreal

About the role

We are seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to join our consulting team in Montreal on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on supporting, maintaining and evolving the software‑factory services and tools for an international banking and finance client.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure stability and availability of software‑factory services, adhering to platform SLAs within a Follow‑The‑Sun support model.
• Operate services in compliance with security regulations and communicate incidents and planned releases.
• Assist application teams in adopting CI/CD best practices and using provided tools.
• Develop prototypes, run proof‑of‑concepts and install, upgrade, maintain tools and environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and create chatbot solutions to reduce support workload.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Microsoft Azure public‑cloud platform.
• Define, implement and track monitoring KPIs (SLOs/SLAs/SLIs).
• Document processes, promote proper tool usage and act as the regional AMER CI/CD tools expert.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with software‑factory tools in development or administration.
• Strong autonomy, ability to lead meetings with users and stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities in complex environments.
• Client‑centric mindset with a results‑driven attitude.
