Senior Designer, Hospitality

About the role

The Hospitality team at NORR is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the creation of high‑quality hotel and boutique‑hotel concepts. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions that meet contextual, budgetary, and aesthetic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyze project information from reports and published documents.
• Develop architectural designs that satisfy quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate design intent with engineering, MEP, and structural disciplines.
• Integrate site surveys, field reviews, and jurisdictional codes into design development.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, and 3D models following office standards.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance and resolve construction deviations.
• Review shop drawings and project deliverables for code and quality adherence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of architectural project experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience across all project phases, from concept through construction.
• Completed post‑secondary architectural education.
• Registration with a professional architectural association is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of MEP and structural building systems and relevant building codes.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $90,000‑$125,000 annually.
