Senior Application Architect – SAP Supply Chain & Procurement

About the role

The Senior Application Architect will lead the design, governance, and optimisation of the organisation's end‑to‑end digital supply chain, procurement and finance ecosystem. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures seamless integration across Plan‑to‑Source, Source‑to‑Contract, Procure‑to‑Pay and related processes using SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, OpenText and SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall solution architecture for supply‑chain, procurement and finance processes across SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass and OpenText.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions, considering upstream and downstream business impacts and aligning with organisational strategy.
• Establish and maintain architectural standards, governance processes and best practices.
• Architect and govern integrations across SAP and non‑SAP platforms using SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration Gateway, APIs, IDocs and SAP Datasphere.
• Lead solution blueprinting, feasibility assessments, impact analyses and testing activities, including quarterly release cycles for Ariba and Fieldglass.
• Partner with analytics teams to design enterprise reporting solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and governing large‑scale SAP landscapes, particularly S/4HANA, Ariba and Fieldglass.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector procurement regulations, audit requirements and financial controls.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate workshops with supply‑chain, procurement, finance and vendor‑management stakeholders.
