Senior Accountant

About the role

DRA Global Limited is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Toronto office. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with IFRS, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements while delivering high‑quality management information to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external financial reporting for North America.
• Prepare financial performance analysis for business units and corporate office.
• Assist with audit and tax work papers, and support internal and external auditors.
• Review cash‑flow statements and manage intercompany transactions for the NAMER region.
• Execute month‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare WIP reports, balance‑sheet and income‑statement reconciliations, and intercompany confirmations.
• Support year‑end close, statutory financial statements, and financial forecasts.
• Maintain project accounting, financial controls, and corporate governance standards.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian regulatory reporting.
• Proven ability to work with auditors and manage audit processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
