Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing mid‑tier public accounting firm in the Greater Toronto Area. You will work on complex audit, assurance, tax and advisory engagements for publicly listed companies, private enterprises and entrepreneurial clients, gaining meaningful client exposure and a clear path for advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements prepared under IFRS.
• Deliver accounting, reporting, compliance and advisory solutions to a diverse client base.
• Prepare and review corporate tax engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted business advisor.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting professional with experience in public accounting.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle audit and assurance engagements.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
