Senior Accountant

About the role

Enable is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Toronto. The role supports month‑end close, external reporting, and equity compensation administration while ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and ad‑hoc reports.
• Own month‑end accounting activities, including posting journal entries and reconciling complex transactions.
• Research new accounting pronouncements, assess US GAAP impacts and advise Finance leadership.
• Analyze sales contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Support period‑end planning, streamline close processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with external auditors during interim and year‑end audits.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives to standardize financial statement preparation.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross‑functional collaboration ability.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with US GAAP, ASC 606 and equity/variable compensation administration.
