Finance Manager

About the role

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking a Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes. The role will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts and produce financial reports that inform decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Complete month‑end and quarter‑end reporting deliverables while adhering to internal controls.
• Manage one‑off and scope requests from Global, collaborating with FP&A on budget and forecast impacts.
• Own Non‑Income Tax Payables and Weekly Tax Payments forecasts, providing variance analysis for cash‑flow management.
• Deliver monthly Deposit Liability, Below EBITDA, and other variance analyses to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the monthly contract review and support the opex‑to‑capex review process.
• Build and maintain budgets for Below EBITDA, Deposit Liability, Non‑Income Tax Payables, and other AR/AP at the start of the year.
• Lead the annual budget load process for scopes, EBITDA, Below EBITDA, and cash flow.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and requests from Global teams.

Required profile

• CPA or CA designation.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Proven stakeholder management abilities.
