Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level accountant to lead the accounting function for our Canadian and U.S. entities. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and support our rapid growth in the circular rare‑earth supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes for all entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and working papers.
• Produce consolidated financial statements and analyse variances.
• Manage accounting for Canadian (ASPE/IFRS) and U.S. (US GAAP) entities, including intercompany transactions.
• Support currency translation and consolidation across borders.
• Coordinate year‑end audit, act as primary liaison with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented senior accountant with experience in multi‑entity, cross‑border accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and U.S. GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, consolidation and audit processes.
