Senior Account Director – Advertising & Media

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Director to lead revenue growth across major CPG and multinational advertiser accounts in Canada. The role combines consultative selling with data‑driven solution design, helping clients connect retail media, digital incentives and in‑store advertising to measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand strategic relationships with existing and new enterprise clients to drive revenue and long‑term partnerships.
• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities, including expansion into new categories such as pharmaceutical advertising.
• Engage senior decision‑makers to understand objectives and design high‑value advertising solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, Leadership) to craft insight‑led proposals.
• Leverage data and insights to create customized, results‑driven campaign recommendations.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and weekly sales activity reporting.
• Ensure strong follow‑through on client engagements to support retention and account growth.

Required profile

• 7+ years of account management, sales or business development experience with enterprise or multinational clients in advertising, media or CPG.
• Proven record of consistent revenue growth and successful new‑business development.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives.
• Highly self‑driven, results‑oriented and capable of working independently.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
