Script Writer

About the role

The Script Writer is the voice behind Martell Group’s written content, creating copy, captions, scripts, and other assets that perform across every platform. This fully remote position works closely with the Social Producer and Creative Producer to ensure brand consistency and audience impact.

Key responsibilities

• Write platform‑native captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Threads, crafting hooks, CTAs, and engaging structures.
• Develop and refine scripts for YouTube episodes, short‑form videos, and branded content, establishing repeatable frameworks.
• Produce titles, descriptions, and metadata optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO discoverability.
• Create promotional copy for episode launches, campaigns, newsletters, and paid ads in collaboration with marketing.
• Collaborate with Creative Producer to align written content with visual direction and platform strategy.

• Strategic creative thinker who understands the power of each word in shaping a brand.
• Ability to write in distinct brand voices without defaulting to generic or AI‑only content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining authentic, high‑quality copy.

Required skills

• Copywriting and scriptwriting across multiple formats.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads).
• SEO‑focused writing and metadata optimization.
