Satellite Platform TT&C Systems Engineer

About the role

As a member of the Systems Engineering Department, the Platform TT&C Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise for the Tracking, Telemetry and Command subsystem that provides a communication path between the satellite and the operations control center. The role involves close collaboration with satellite payload teams and ensuring the TT&C subsystem meets performance, reliability and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design Platform TT&C systems operating across multiple frequency bands.
• Perform system‑level link‑budget and antenna‑scattering analyses.
• Develop and maintain systems‑engineering documentation, including requirements, verification matrices and design descriptions.
• Prepare interface control documents for TT&C integration with other platform subsystems.
• Troubleshoot TT&C issues on integrated satellite and Platform Engineering Model (FlatSat) test setups.
• Ensure interoperability between the TT&C subsystem and satellite payload.
• Contribute to the overall communications concept of operations and support milestone reviews (EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in RF and satellite communications.
• Strong RF engineering background with hands‑on experience in transceivers, couplers, filters and antennas.
• Familiarity with communication standards and regulations such as ITU, CCSDS and ETSI.
