Satellite and Payload System Test Authority (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Satellite and Payload System Test Authority to lead planning, coordination and execution of system‑level testing for advanced satellite and payload communication systems. The role ensures validation and integration of satellite platforms, payloads and ground systems to achieve mission readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system‑level testing, validation and verification activities for satellite and payload communication systems.
• Develop and execute test strategies, procedures and plans for integration.
• Support integration of space and ground segment systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software and communication issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and mission readiness.
• Support flight software integration, satellite database validation and operational testing.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and engineering recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in digital communications within the space industry.
• Experience with LEO, MEO and/or GEO satellite communication systems.
• Strong understanding of phased‑array antenna systems, digital modulation, signal processing and networking.
• Knowledge of space and ground segment architecture, flight software and satellite database concepts.
