SAP RISE Technical Lead

About the role

The SAP RISE Technical Lead is responsible for coordinating end‑to‑end technical onboarding and foundation setup for SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition (PCE) on cloud platforms. This role acts as the single point of contact across SAP, internal cloud, network, IAM, security teams, system integrators and ServiceNow/ITIL processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own internal tickets and drive the work‑stream plan for connectivity, identity and operational readiness.
• Coordinate private connectivity tasks such as ExpressRoute changes, routing, allow‑lists, DNS forwarding, name resolution and firewall requirements.
• Implement SSO and provisioning patterns using Microsoft Entra ID with SAP IAS/IPS (SAML/OIDC, SCIM) and align access governance with SailPoint/CyberArk where applicable.
• Deploy SAP Cloud ALM integration, including monitoring hooks, alerting and operational processes.
• Establish SAP BTP foundation – sub‑account/global account setup, entitlements, destinations, connectivity patterns and security baseline.
• Lead ServiceNow ticketing and cross‑team coordination across cloud, network, IAM, security and SOC functions.
• Define operational handover artefacts such as runbooks, support models, monitoring/log forwarding and disaster‑recovery connectivity readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical onboarding for SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition.
• Strong coordination skills across cloud, network, IAM and security domains.
• Familiarity with ITIL‑based ticketing and ServiceNow processes.
