Sales Market Security Manager

About the role

The Sales Market Security Manager will lead the security function for H&M’s sales market across stores and offices in Canada. Reporting to the General Manager Canada, this hybrid position is based in Toronto and focuses on protecting people, reputation, and assets while fostering a safe and ethical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of security professionals covering loss prevention, health & safety, asset protection and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Operations, HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, Logistics and Supply Chain.
• Set function goals, budgets and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across security and safety initiatives.
• Act as senior escalation point for misconduct, fraud investigations and policy breaches.
• Oversee scenario planning, crisis simulations and cross‑functional response activation.
• Manage security standards, compliance programs and the security systems roadmap, ensuring technology deployment and innovation.
• Lead loss‑prevention strategy, monitor shrinkage KPIs and align teams on best practices.
• Direct health & safety strategy, ensure legal compliance and guide training and incident reporting.
• Maintain full ownership of security financials, including budgeting, forecasting and invoice management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in security, loss prevention or health & safety within a retail or multi‑site environment.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate across diverse business functions.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and compliance audits.
• Excellent communication and crisis‑management skills.
