Sales Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join HomeEquity Bank’s Inside Sales team. The role involves making outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries from prospective clients who have expressed interest in our reverse‑mortgage solutions. You will qualify leads, answer product questions and schedule appointments for the Inside Sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospects who have previously requested information.
• Handle inbound calls from prospective clients seeking details about HomeEquity Bank products.
• Deliver prepared sales scripts to explain product features and persuade prospects to book a meeting.
• Answer client questions, overcome objections and provide accurate product information.
• Collect and enter customer data (name, address, secured debt) into the system.
• Adjust sales scripts to better match individual client needs.
• Schedule appointments with the Inside Sales team and follow up as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Progressive customer service or tele‑sales experience.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Flexible availability between 8 am‑8 pm EST, Monday‑Friday, with mandatory weekend shifts.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and comfortable working with targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
