Route Supervisor

About the role

The Route Supervisor supports the Service Department by leading a district of routes, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving team productivity. Reporting to the District Manager, the role combines hands‑on route work with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a high‑performing district through training, daily check‑ins, and regular meetings.
• Supervise and build strong relationships with Route Service Representatives (RSRs).
• Assist the District Manager with customer visits, audits, new installations, and problem‑solving.
• Communicate policy changes, evaluate route organization, and maintain a professional image.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Service SOPs.
• Perform general route duties, operate company vehicles safely, and act as a Route Relief/Utility RSR when needed.
• Drive sales initiatives, up‑sell/cross‑sell services, monitor competition, and keep service agreements current.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license, age 21 + with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and route sales abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Good time‑management, teamwork, and basic numeracy skills.
