Rotational AME-M Apprentice

About the role

Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is looking for professional, highly skilled AME-M apprentices to join its rotational teams supporting a fleet of DC-3s, Twin Otters and Beechcraft 200/1900D at operating bases in Resolute Bay, Iqaluit, Inuvik and Calgary. The position reports to an ACA Engineer and requires no relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing aircraft maintenance in accordance with published procedures
• Ensure all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified before installation
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Keep the work area and hangar facility organized and tidy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Registration or recent graduation from an AME program
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to manage workloads and meet fixed deadlines
• Able to obtain Transport Canada security clearances
