About the role

Join Sandman Hotel Group as a Room Attendant in Calgary, AB. This part‑time position supports the housekeeping team by delivering clean, comfortable rooms and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public areas according to Sandman standards, including making beds, restocking amenities, and polishing fixtures.
• Handle laundry tasks: collect, sort, transport, fold, and stock linens and towels.
• Report maintenance, safety hazards, lost‑property items, and any suspicious activity to the supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and follow proper handling procedures.

Required profile

• No prior education or experience required; one‑on‑one training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and present a professional appearance.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Capable of dealing with guests and staff sensitively and diplomatically.

Required skills

• WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) awareness.
• Strong time‑management and adaptability under pressure.
