Retail Team Lead (Full-time)

About the role

The Retail Team Lead will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. This full-time position combines hands-on leadership with a strong sense of style to maintain an organized, customer-focused environment across the store.

Key responsibilities

• Support store performance by contributing to sales targets and aligning with company KPIs.
• Assist with day-to-day operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, loss-prevention, reporting and scheduling.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to create a clean, welcoming atmosphere.
• Coach and develop team members through training, feedback and performance monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Manager to ensure alignment on priorities and timely execution of action plans.
• Lead on the sales floor, resolve customer issues and model a customer-first mindset.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer-focused setting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to motivate a team toward shared goals and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays, and ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS, ERP and ATS systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
