About the role

Homesense is seeking enthusiastic Retail Store Associates to join the Taunton Gardens location in Whitby. This part‑time position offers a friendly, inclusive environment where you can develop customer‑service skills and grow within a leading off‑price retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Perform cashier duties, operate the point‑of‑sale system, and handle transactions accurately.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and maintain a tidy, inviting sales floor.
• Support back‑room operations, including stocking, inventory checks, and store cleanliness.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and retail skills.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and deliver excellent service.
