About the role
The Retail Salesperson will be the front‑line representative of LJ Grocery Store in Fort McMurray, delivering friendly service and ensuring smooth store operations. You will handle transactions, support inventory management, and help customers find the products they need in a fast‑paced grocery environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Use computerized inventory and re‑ordering systems to maintain stock levels.
- Provide product advice and promote sales, specials, and store promotions.
- Assist in merchandising, display setup, and product placement.
- Maintain sales records and support inventory control procedures.
Required profile
- Hardworking and reliable with a positive attitude.
- Quick learner who can adapt to changing tasks.
- Organized and able to handle repetitive, physically demanding work.
- Team player comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg and perform bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
