Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Circle Craft is seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Associate to represent its co‑operatively owned craft store on Granville Island. Working under the Store Manager, you will showcase the work of 140 local artists, assist customers, and ensure a high‑quality shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, providing information about artists and their work.
• Process sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Package purchased items securely and attractively for in‑store pickup or shipment.
• Follow up on custom orders with customers and artists.
• Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of gallery displays and restock inventory as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of retail sales experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as the store is open seven days a week.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
