Retail Sales Associate – Full‑Time

About the role

PetSmart is looking for enthusiastic Retail Sales Associates to join its Calgary store. In this full‑time position you will interact with pet parents and their animals, delivering friendly service while supporting store operations and pet care.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with purchases in‑store, by phone, and online.
• Prepare online orders for pick‑up and ensure a smooth collection experience.
• Feed, water, and clean habitats for store‑owned birds, reptiles, small animals, crickets, and fish.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support weekly price changes, promotional pricing, and product stocking.
• Recommend and sell merchandise, services, and live pets.
• Administer pet medications under veterinary direction and handle sick or injured pets.
• Promote special events such as adoption weekends and charity drives.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.
