About the role
We are seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Sonbadas Steakhouse in Terrace, BC. The role involves overseeing budgeting, staff management, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies.
- Monitor revenues, labour costs, and cash flow; prepare balance sheets and cash reports.
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant operations.
- Recruit, schedule, train, and evaluate staff performance.
- Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing according to budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and provincial liquor regulations.
- Maintain inventory and negotiate with suppliers.
- Handle customer complaints, provide service, and manage events and catering.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and implement operational procedures.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant management or similar role.
