About the role
We are looking for a cook to join Sonbadas Steakhouse in Terrace, BC. The position involves preparing and cooking meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food quality for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate special events and organize buffets and banquets.
- Determine portion sizes, costs and plan menus.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and food handling.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of kitchen experience.
- Availability for evening, shift, flexible hours, day and weekend work.
