About the role
The Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations at Bento Sushi in Hamilton, ensuring smooth service delivery and a high-quality dining experience. This role involves overseeing staff, managing inventory, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan daily operations, setting staff work schedules.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct training and performance reviews.
- Organize and maintain inventory while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies and with clients for catering or facility use.
- Participate in marketing plans and address customer complaints or concerns.
Required profile
- Accurate and reliable with strong client focus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible, organized and able to multitask.
- Team player with dependable interpersonal abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook.
- Proficiency in MS Word.
- Experience with a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
