About the role
Join the Popeyes team in Hamilton as a Cook, where you will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. This full‑time, permanent role offers flexible scheduling across mornings, evenings, nights, days and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dishes for customers, including those with allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Coordinate special events, determine portion sizes and estimate food costs.
- Plan menus, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory records.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, manage kitchen operations, and order supplies and equipment.
Required profile
- No formal degree required; a certificate or diploma is not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food‑service setting is an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings, nights, days and weekends.
