About the role
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Popeyes location in Newcastle, ON. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving profitability in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate daily operations and monitor revenues to control labour costs.
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily activities, including staff scheduling and performance management.
- Train and develop a team of 5‑10 employees, conduct performance reviews, and address customer complaints.
- Maintain accurate cash handling, balance sheets, and cash reports.
- Manage inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or fast‑food management.
- Proven ability to supervise a team of 5‑10 staff members.
- Comfort working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, days, weekends as needed.
