About the role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Calypso Greek Taverna in Calgary. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with health and liquor regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets to control food, beverage, and supply costs.
- Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including staffing and scheduling.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 11‑15 employees.
- Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and implement promotional plans.
- Address customer complaints and ensure high‑quality service.
Required profile
- College‑level certificate or diploma (1‑2 years).
- 2‑3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Strong accuracy, client focus, and excellent oral and written communication.
- Organized, team‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
