Residential Lending Strategy Intern – Winter 2027

About the role

Join EQ Bank’s Residential Lending Strategy team for a winter internship (January‑April 2027). You will support Mortgage Retention and HELOC initiatives, helping drive customer retention and portfolio growth through analytical research and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in discovery and planning for strategic topics such as customer retention, portfolio growth, pricing, and operational efficiency.
• Develop business cases for new opportunities, including qualitative fact‑finding and quantitative modeling.
• Design, build, and maintain PowerBI and Excel dashboards that consolidate portfolio metrics for decision‑making.
• Prepare presentation materials that communicate key data insights to stakeholders.
• Provide data and analysis support to cross‑functional teams to enable data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
